Help please remembering the title of a Canadian saga

A few years ago I read several books in a saga from the library and would love to re-read it all again but have forgotten the titles of the books.

The story was about a family who settled as pioneers in Canada and followed the various family members over the years throughout the series of books.

Sorry for sketchy details but does anyone recognise the story at all please?

Jalna/Whiteoak series?

Oh I loved those books years ago. Always felt so sorry for poor Finch.

Yes I loved them too, I suddenly remembered how one year I had got one book after another in the saga out from my local library and read them one after another throughout that year and how pleasurable it was.
