Book recommendations for book club

Could I please have any recommendations of books that you’ve read or that your book club enjoyed?

It’s soon to be my turn to choose a book and my last choice was so unpopular (was a bit embarrassed 🙁).

We’ve already read:

How to stop time
Midnight Library
Nutshell
Trespass
The Choice
A Beautiful Spy
Moonflower Murders

I always try and finish the book even if I don’t like it. I sort of think you’re obliged to if you join a book group, though there are always some who don’t. I’ll give up if it’s one if those misery heaped upon abuse type books that predominately women’s groups seem to favour.

My recommendation of a brilliant book I’ve just finished is Tom Lake by Ann Patchett.
