Please help me find the author of these books - a poisoned woman who lived alone and another one with bodies in the cellar?!

It's driving me mad. I loved these books by the same author and I just can't find the author.
If it helps, I enjoy Lisa Jewell, Shari Lapena, AE Lynes type books.

I should have said, one was about a woman who lived alone, and got poisoned but I can't remember by who. She lives in a little house alone, in the grounds of the house of another family family member. She kept thinking someone had been coming into her house and they had been, as they'd poisoned her.

Then the other one by the same author was something about a woman with a child (I think) and her husband (I think) had buried bodies in the cellar and possibly garden?!

I read so much and this is all I can remember but I also remember loving the books

Bodies in the cellar rings a bell, would it be Cara Hunter?
