Hi Hoping someon can help. I've been trying to remember the title/author for a while now - does anyone recognise these bits I can remember from it and can help with details of title/author?
I originally bought the book late 90s/early 2000s, it is definitely chick-lit! I think the heroine is called Louise.
The book starts with the girl losing her job with a party planning business after being off sick. She then finds out she is pregnant. She meets her future partner at the job centre. In the course of the book we find out her mother is due to go to a school reunion but is unsure about this. Her sister works in the music business. There is a scene in the book where they all end up pulling over in the car and having a cry about how their lives are unfolding.
Is this plot familiar to anyone?
