Favourite historical non-fiction

I'm looking for some more historical non-fiction to read. I’m interested in pretty much anything, so please tell me your favourite ever.

The White Ship by Charles Spencer if you are interested in early Medieval history.

Lords of the Horizon by Jason Goodwin is a really good account of the rise and fall of the Ottoman Empire.

River Kings by Cat Jarman which is about the Vikings.

Anything by Tim Marshall - not historical as such but Prisoners of Geography and The Power of Geography have elements of history in and are fascinating about geopolitics.

Any of Misha Glenny's books about the Balkans.
