Help me find three books please

Inspired by another thread.

3 books I can’t find despite looking

1. childrens book I think with grey hippos and pink girl hippos - the pink girl hippos don’t want to get mucky but then she does and finds it so much more fun
2. childrens book like called the ordinary princess or something - I’ve googled this title but it didn’t look like the same book I remembers this would have been a 1970s or 1980s book
3. fiction. It was like Angela c or someone who was a nurse and killing people a bit like Dexter / it was a series and my local library had loads of them- I’m sure she was a nurse and was killing not nice people - again it was definitely fiction series might have been called Angel or Angela or something

The Ordinary Princess is by M M Kaye, the heroine is called Amy.
