@AnneKipankitoo look at the order of the Life books, one comes after another.

Look at the pattern on the woman's dress and it's not her socks but a very specific part of her foot (think Greek mythology).

@SlayB the author isn't well know unless you've read one of her books - late Victorian feminist who mainly wrote short stories. It is about a woman stuck in a room and if she looked around the room at the four walls all she would see is ........

Got them all now after some help on here for 'read me' and the ladder and Eve and the two bad puns. I'm definitely improving year on year though thanks to you lot.
