Enjoying children's classics

Rereading all my old favourites. Love getting cozy under a blanket with a cup of tea and a hob nob!
Just read;
5 children and it.
The railway children
Whole Narnia series

Just about to start Peter Pan.
Was an eighties child and having difficulty remembering what else I read.
Not the famous five as done them to death.

Any others you can recommend?

I've decided to make a proper bookshelf of all these children's classics.

The Mennyms by Sylvia Waugh. Series about a family of dolls trying not have their "dollness" discovered. Sounds weird but it's fantastic. I was actually on cloud nine as an adult rereading the first and discovering the rest in the series. Very underrated novels.

Oh yes, great shout @Teleporno. No one seems to have heard of them now but The Mennyms, particularly the first few books, were wonderful, haunting and very unusual. Rather sad too. They so wanted to lead normal lives but they couldn’t risk being discovered by humans.
