Catrina Wards last house on needless street was brilliant for twists and turns and a total psychological rollercoaster

I was just going to recommend a Lisa Jewell book. I have nearly finished The Family Upstairs and really recommend it.

Follow You Home by Mark Edwards is a really gripping psychological thriller, but the most nail biting gripping of all is the Stillhouse Lake series by Rachel Caine.

Something in the Water by Catherine Steadman

Into the darkest corner by Elizabeth Haynes

Beneath the skin by Nicci French

Lucy Atkins is quite good. A bit more involved than the usual (and immediately forgettable) woman that you meet randomly and becomes your best friend turns into psycho nutjob/boyfriend who is perfect turns into gaslighting psycho nutjob.
Early Nicci French and Mo Hayder (though MH used a lot of (IMO) gratuitous violence against women.
The 2 by Harriet Tyce I've read were quite good.

I've just finished missing Molly which I enjoyed. Now currently reading the closer you get which is very gripping.

Girl A is good

Jackie Kabler - The Perfect Couple
Caroline Kepnes - You (so much better than the Netflix series)
