Holiday Cottage Book Exchange: what would you take?

Currently having a lovely Autumn break in Cornwall. Love this idea of exchanging books in the holiday cottage. I’m nearly at the end of my second book that I brought with me.

So, what would you choose from these shelves? For context, I am leaving Golden Hill by Francis Spufford and The Farm by Tom Rob Smith.

Would also love to see other holiday cottage book exchange shelves 😊.

Oh I see The Night Circus there! That’s a must if you like mild fantasy. One of my faves!

I'd have to pick up "Death Comes to Pemberley" by P.D. James, as I am a real fan of Jane Austen.

I love things like this - I had a holiday in a lovely cottage in Pembrokeshire earlier this year, which had a similar shelf. There was an excellent selection of very old recipe books and a good (also very old) non-fiction about ghosts in various places. Happy days!

The Night Circus is a definite possibility. Just been to St Michael’s Mount so The Dead of Winter is also on the cards.
