Books to read to a 6 year old

Does anyone have any recommendations for books to read to a 6 year old at bed time? We've done the Magic Faraway Tree set and the Roald Dahl collection, be nice to have something I don't know too though!

We love Frog and Toad stories - beautifully told and generate good chat about the characters.

Brambly Hedge
Michael Rosen stories (Fluff the Farting Fish etc)
And lots of picture books too

Hate to say it but the Beast Quest and Fairy Magic endless series go down well here. But also my DS and me love reading the Jill Murphy picture books now he's old enough to get the humour from the adult pov (eg Five Minutes Peace, A Quiet Night In).
