Is it possible to put books from Scribd onto a Kindle Paperwhite?

I've had a month's free trial on Scribd and I really like it, but the problem is I don't like reading from phone or from my laptop. Does anyone know if it's possible to download the books from Scribd onto my Kindle to read them there?

Are they pdfs or can they only be read within scribd? You can "send" files to your kindle account using a special kindle email address supplied by amazon?
