Life changing book

OK maybe not life changing but am looking for one of those books which stays with you for a long time for an upcoming holiday. I read lots of run of the mill books but like to have a 'special' one for a holiday that I can look forward to reading. Here are some of the ones I've read and loved so far which I would define as 'special':

Bizarrely, it’s Gone with the wind for me🤷🏻‍♀️ I think it was the first female (character) I’ve ever encountered that had to overcome total ruin. I had a seriously shitty childhood and in my head I convinced myself my life will always be bad, till I read about Tara. Then a light bulb went in my head and it all started to turn from there.

Good call, haven't read that in a lot of years.
