There are a few towns that are devoted to readers - that is, full of bookstores - and I thought it might be interesting to see one some time.

I was just reading about this one:

Inside Urueña, The Spanish Town That Is Home To More Books Than School Pupils
By Raphael Minder

The plan was to keep Urueña alive with book tourism, modeling it after other rural literary hubs across Europe — notably, Montmorillon in France and Hay-on-Wye in Britain. Hay has long hosted one of the continent’s most famous literary festivals.

I haven't. Dc read, and I read, but nobody else does. But has anyone seen Nora Roberts Inn boonsboro? All the rooms are literary based and I would love to stay there. Not sure in which room though.

It's been bliss. And paid for by work so even better!

Back to the chaos of home and normal work today though!

Choking on my jealousy even more, brook.

That sounds fun, ILProbs. I live in a place associated with Harry Potter and there are a couple of airbnbs that have decorated themselves as Hogwarts chambers. They're pretty expensive and I can't really justify it when I live so close, but I've been quite tempted to try them out.

I'd definitely recommend it bibliomania
I was there as part of an academic writing retreat and often go with small groups of academics from my university but it's also a wonderful place to just to relax and I do prefer it when I get to go alone ..... it's a great place to just switch off and the restaurant does lovely food.

Im planning on taking my book loving friend as she's always very jealous when I go with work.
