Just to say I'm really enjoying this one - picked it up at the library.

Anyone else like it?

I have the last third of the book to read - hence the no spoilers in this title - but looking forward to probably finishing it today....

Just finished reading it tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Keen to try her other books now as this was the first I’d read.

I had issues with it but I read it till the end. Too many characters and hopping about in time (pet hate of mine). But when I saw your post I remembered the weird thing that bothered me most was the description of her mum as a sort of badly dressed cougar, but she is my age and I couldn’t relate to it at all 😂. I decided the author Claire Douglas must be very young to view forty somethings as sad messes with no dress sense.

😅. Well I finished it - wasn’t disappointed at the ending - I also will definitely keep an eye out for this author
