Not an expert but I love him. The Last Chronicle has one of his many many very funny scenes - where Mr Crawley says "Peace Woman!" to Mrs Proudie and Bishop Proudie "jumps to hear the wife of his bosom thus addressed".

John Lennon’s biography

Nobody has got the odd murderer one, but it was always going to be pretty much impossible unless you're the 50 Booker who recommended it.

I'm interested in finding out what the Alaskan one is.

On a side note, I've always quite fancied John Torode.

@Riverlee Correct - it's John Lennon, The Life, by Philip Norman. It was a Christmas present from my DH.

About a childless couple who move to a homestead in Alaska, and befriend a mysterious girl who appears after they build a child- snowman. There’s a link to a Russian folklore storey which has a snowchild. Noone apart from this couple, see her and no one else has heard of her.
