Preferably something lighthearted..

My usual go to is 'Stargazy Pie' by Laura Lockington.. really good drivel as my late mum would've said.

Not a novel, short stories but Jeannette Winterson's Christmas Days is as perfect a Christmas read as you could hope for.

'A proper family Christmas' by Jane Gordon-Cumming. Brilliantly funny and quick easy read probably loved it because the old boy could have been based on my dad Grin
