I'm hoping those familiar with the books/authors referenced in the title will have a sense of what I'm looking for? Essentially, mysteries with lots of literary/cultural references, possibly with puzzles or ephemera. The kind of book you might want to takes copious notes from while reading to jump down a rabbit hole of research.

I'm unashamed to say I've read all of Dan Brown's books, and even own a glorious fully illustrated edition of TDVC Grin

Possession was also a good read!

I'm hoping for something similar to get my teeth into, or add to my Christmas list if pricey or special. I have no idea what this "type" if book is called, so finding it difficult to search for! TIA for any recommendations Smile
