Anyone recognise this book? Emerald necklace...

Just come back from Book Club, and another member would love to re-read a book that featured a stolen emerald necklace, that was hidden in the ice house within the grounds of a big house. Wrong person blamed for theft. I don't have more details than that, as it wasn't my reading experience, but it would be nice to present her with a possibility if anyone recognises it? Possibly quite an old book. TIA.

I wonder if it's The Nine Tailors by Dorothy L Sayers? Though I think the necklace was hidden in a church.

Is it The Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena?

(Terrible book though, I thought!)

Is it The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins? Not exactly what you've described but along those lines.

I shall pass this list on. Thanks everyone.
