Kindle - I don't want to see my kids' genre of books as suggestions...!

Hello,

Family of 4 with a kindle each. We have a household account, where DH and I share content and the kids kindles are linked. All works wonderfully apart from the fact that on my kindle I keep getting suggestions proposed to me which are kids books!!

I would like my kindle to just be for me! But if I go to "manage device and content" I only have the option to delete books from all devices....

Does anyone know how I can have my kindle with MY books only, so that I get books recommended to me that I would enjoy based on my reading and not based on my kids!!

If you go in to your account and go to Recommendations, you should be able to click on everything you don't want to be used to recommend stuff to you - which is what I do when I've bought something I'd never read as a present for someone.

I don't have linked accounts so I assume this works but can't promise.

Have you heard of Bookbub? You can key in your preferences and then it will send you a daily email list of suggested books. May be a good alternative.
