Just wondering if anyone else has read this one about a well connected Iraqi woman and her time spent in a notorious prison in Iraq. I have just finished reading several factual books about Irag and middle east and this was the most disturbing and shocking yet. I picked it up cheaply from Tescos thinking it would be an interesting angle and a change to read something about the people and the area that wasn?t written by a man. It was so traumatic and horrific that it was hard reading it and dealing with the fact that these are real people and that the stories are all from the recent past.
