Recently finished (devoured) this book. Any recommendations of any similar books I would enjoy?

Yes! The mad women’s ball a new book I’ve just found in Waterstones by Victoria M’as.Translated from the French it’s set in Paris in an asylum for Victorian women who are deemed mad,( rather than strong willed!) and it’s fabulous!
Also there is a book I’ve been given called “The painted bridge” by Wendy Wallace also about Victorian London and asylums.
