Can someone please give me a summary of what happens in this book? Full spoilers please. I have been reading it for what seems forever and I'm so bored- can someone please just tell me what the big secret is so I can move on. Tia

I downloaded a sample of this book from Apple Books but haven't gotten around to buying it yet. Thank you for letting us know it's boring. The Goodreads book reviews seem to say the same. To be honest I'm curious about the big secret too.
