Has anyone read anything recently that has really made them think / feel? I really love big gut punches of books. Absolutely adored Grief is the thing with feathers by Max Porter and Boys don't Cry by Fíona Scarlett. Books I thought about for days afterwards.

Any recommendations like this would be fab and if you haven't read the above I highly highly recommend ( as long as you're emotionally stable )

Just finished The Headmasters Wager by Vincent Lam. Can’t get it out of my head.. it’s difficult to find another book to read. Other books seem to pale into insignificance.

I've just finished Small Pleasures by Clare Chambers which is the loveliest book I've read in a long time. I even had to put it down at one point because I was getting through it too quickly and didn't want it to end. It just really drew me in and I'm sad I won't ever know what happens to them all next. Anyone else read it?

I love ‘A Man Called Ove’

Also ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’, ‘Behind the Scenes at the Museum’, ‘The Colour Purple’ and ‘Stuart - A Life Backwards’.
