Desperately trying to remember what book this is. I’ll describe the bits I remember and hopefully someone will know what it is!
A body is found (teenage boy I think) in a cave/cliff by a road. Eventually turns out that the policeman’s son ran the boy over by accident and they hid the body. Policeman knows it was his son who did it.
One of the characters is a boy with one arm shorter than the other because he’d broken it badly as a child and it stopped growing.
Parallel storyline - there’s a man (possibly called Levi) walking carrying a box. Box contains the body of his daughter and he’s trying to take her to their family grave. This man ends up being a suspect somehow.
Chapters alternate viewpoints between characters and possibly skips between past and present.
I’ve googled as much as I can remember but can’t find it!
