My MIL is a psychotic narc who reads my mail, talks to DH when we're in bed and tried to get me to breastfeed DS in front of her letcherous old friends, and my DH is an insufferable mummies boy and a crashing bore to boot. I think I have PND as I'm not bonding with DS at all and no one takes my ambition to be an actress seriously. AIBU???

Ha! I've just listened to this chapter while at home recovering from Covid.

"My husband's been missing for 5yrs and I've met a new hunky American (with an atrociously poor accent in the audiobooks version, but that's by-the-by) who compliments me and doesn't seem to mind that I have a 4yo with my husband and stepchildren who are about the same age as me. I do love with my in-laws rent-free so AIBU to start up a relationship with him?"

My younger half-sister is looking really hot recently. AIBU to start a relationship with her? I know some people would disapprove but I think they’re being terribly bourgeoise. Not to drip feed, my mother died when I was young, and my father went missing for years in France and when he had a chance to send us a note he only wrote to my sister and forgot about me, so we’re not a close family.

I'm hysterically in love but my lover is only using me to get back at her asexual friend-zoning companion who she's obsessed with and who is an absolute drip and still lives with her parents. Why doesn't she want to live with me instead?? AIBU?

As an aside can we all agree that EJH deserves a Pulitzer for such gems as "She made love like someone who had to catch the 8.10 in the morning and knew she'd be standing the whole way" and "there followed a brief silence in which they all disliked eachother".

I'd never heard of this series of books but on the strength of these 8 posts I've just bought extra credits from Audible to get them

She looks after her elderly parents but they have servants and her entire family treats her like a slave.

I would love to go abroad for my holidays but we spend every summer with his boring family. Every year go to the beach at Bexhill FFS. They all work at the same place as well. AIBU to think they need to get a life....

But perhaps I'm being unreasonable to suggest that.
