Ducks, Newburyport

Has anyone read this? I'm intrigued but wary. Reading between the lines of a lot of press reviews, it sounds like utter twaddle. But I'd be willing to give it a try if anyone recommends it.

My advice would be get it from the library then you’ll have no guilt tossing it aside when you’re bored out your mind with it.
I found it manic and tedious to read and don’t know anyone in real life that has made it to the end of it

I've read the first 30 pages. I'm quire enjoying the feeling of being in someone's head and piecing together glimpses of her life. Skipping quite a bit though.

I don't know whether I'll make it to the end. I borrowed it from the library.

I thought it was brilliant. Takes a while to get into but then very addictive and a great ending
