Looking to her dd13 a couple of books for Christmas. She really enjoyed Good Girls Guide to Murder and the follow on book and wondered if anyone could suggest any similar books?

Maureen Johnson is a great author who writes books of a similar vibe to that. Truly Devious is the first book of her series.

Alan Bradley’s series which starts with The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie with adolescent sleuth and would-be sister-poisoner Flavia, are good fun.

I read a short Christmas mystery where the main character and amateur sleuth was helped by her teen son. It wasn't a kids book but no sex/bad language in it.

I found it in Kindle Unlimited and it was called Diamonds and Deception. There were lots of other 'clean' whodunits in there too

I came across the Murder Most Unladylike series by Robin Stevens whilst browsing today.

Thanks For the suggestions. Dd has already read 1 of the murder most unladylike books but didn’t enjoy it enough to read another.

Maybe go old school and get some Nancy Drew?
