DS is almost 2 and loves looking at ‘Animalium’ and ‘Here We Are’ by Oliver Jeffers. I’d like to get something similar for Christmas, not focused on animals. I’ve identified Botanicum and Joelle Jolivet’s Book of Everything as possibilities but I’m not entirely convinced by either. Wondered about a kid's encyclopaedia but I don’t want anything text heavy, just lots of interesting pictures to look at and talk about. Not Wimmelbooks, we already have a couple (thanks to Mumsnet!).
Any recommendations? It’s the kind of thing that would be easy to choose if I could browse a bookshop but is really hard to select online!
