Not an audiobook, but there's a really creepy fiction podcast called The Harrowing which I enjoyed. It stars Joanne Froggatt.

The BBC do a spooky podcast called The Lovecraft Investigations. I listened to the episodes telling the story of The Case of Charles Dexter Ward. Very creepy. If you like M R James, this should appeal to you.

I also highly recommend the Lovecraft Investigations. They're on BBC sounds app. You'll need to start with The Case of Charles Dexter Ward as the stories are interlinked. Very creepy and utterly gripping. Acting is brilliant and the sound design is superb.

Michelle Paver also wrote Thin Air which is very similar to Dark Matter in spookiness levels. Also works well on audiobook, very atmospheric. You can almost feel the cold as you do in Dark Matter.
