I've just read Mexican Gothic which is great and very atmospheric.

I listen to Bitesized audio classics channel on YouTube - he reads Victorian ghost stories and he's an excellent narrator. I listen whilst DIYing/cooking as I get too scared listening in bed Grin

I listen to HorrorBabble on YouTube, great variety of stories, from Victorian classics to modern and excellent narrators. Sure makes the housework go faster!

Will check out Bitesized audio classics, thanks @thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter

Phil Rickman’s December is always a seasonal favourite to read here

So far I've read 'Frankenstein' and am almost through 'Dracula'! Maybe some Edgar Allen Poe after that...

MR James' short stories

Hoolahoophop · 23/10/2020 07:45

Thank you,

I think I'll see if I can find Mexican Gothic or Dark Matter and maybe pull out the MR James shirt stories. My youngest us settling badly at the moment which is exhausting, buy while back rubbing for hours at a time I do get plenty of midnight reading done!
