spoilers requested! Please don’t read the thread if you haven’t read it, because I’m asking for reveals/ twists!

I recently read (and vaguely enjoyed) this. BUT I kept reading last thing at night -often with a small glass of wine- and I think I must have read it carelessly as I’ve finished now and can’t for the life of me work out what the twists were that I’ve seen mentioned on the Amazon reviews! I could read it again I suppose but my TBR pile is quite high...
So, could anyone in a nutshell explain what the twists were?!

The husband and the faked affair

The person in prison not being the guilty one?

The child being involved?

I think, anyway....

I think the big twist was that it was the child - I actually wrongly figured it was her mother midway through.

Me too. Though wasn't it both her and her mother together?

Oh, I read it as being the child. I am definitely not going back and reading it again now!

You could be right! I just thought child couldn't physically do it alone but I think in retrospect maybe that is nonetheless the plot.
