I've just read this book and could not put it down. It is a true crime book on the Golden State killer during the 70's & 80's. He was caught in 2018 via DNA (close match with family relative).

Has anyone else read this, and if so, do you have any similar recommendations?

It’s so sad that the author (and some victims relatives) didn’t live to see his capture and trial.

I’d recommend True Story by Michael Finkel. The author isn’t likeable like Mcnamara bit it’s equally compelling
