Just after some book ideas for DD's birthday.

She's enjoyed David Walliams' books, and also the Amelia Fang series. Have bought her Hotel Flamingo but she doesn't seem to have gotten into that.

Any ideas would be appreciated Smile

My 9yo is currently reading Malory Towers series. If your DD has seen the TV series, there is a book adaption my DD quite enjoyed.

My son is enjoying The Wizards of Once series, they are have a boy and a girl as main characters, have humour and illustrations as well as a good fantasy story.

8yo DD is currently obsessed with the Warrior Cats series, and you can buy box sets of six from Books2Door for about £15. She’s also really enjoyed the 13 Storey Treehouse and all its sequels,

I was going to say Warrior Cats too. My DD is obsessed. They can a bit traumatic too though. I had to reassure Dd that dead cats go to Star Clan and are fine Hmm had to do my own research to console a very upset dd. But she loves those books.
Other favourites are
Zoe’s Rescue Zoo
Owls of Blossom Wood
Horrid Henry
Most of David Walliams.
