Get so excited to have a new book that you’re determined to savour it and make it last more than a couple of days.

Then you get into the book and want to finish it as soon as possible so you can understand the whole book and all the twisters.

Got two books on Saturday...finished one already and likely to finish the other by the end of the week SadGrin

I love reading, but I wish I could pace myself a little

I read 5-10 books a week (thank goodness for Kindle Unlimited!). If there's one I've been anticipating for a while I will save it for a time where I know I'll be uninterrupted for a few hours. Pacing? Not for me. I'll read it again a few weeks later though.

Yeah I enjoy re-reading books because you know what’s happened, but you actually understand how the writer has approached it.

I used to have a kobo which was a kindle type pad, but I much prefer real books.

Though sometimes I miss my e-reader because it was cheaper to buy them.

Ahh tempting

Yes, am the same, totally involved in the story and then feel a little sad when I have finished. Rereading lots of Ruth Rendell after many years and really enjoying it
