Maybe a bit niche, but I have a hankering for something like The Loney by Andrew Hurley or The Gallows Pole by Benjamin Myers. Any ideas?

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned The Essex Serpent yet, it's a wonderful read!

Touch by Alexi Zentner if you can find it is a beautiful read with it's descriptions of nature. I chanced upon it a couple of years ago as a brand new hardback in Poundland. I have Pine (as mentioned above) on my TBR list in the hope it's of a similar vein.
