Anyone signed up to Books That Matter subscription?

I love a subscription box but have huge amounts of skincare stuff. I came across this on another group - every month they send you a box with a book (looks like usually by a female author 👍) and various other bits and pieces.

Next month it's a Women's Prize special, so will be a previous WP winner.

According to SM they're also doing a one-off box with all the shortlisted WP books for this year (I really want that one!)

I'm going to try it out - I could do with a treat at the moment...

You can just order one month of you like, you don't have to sign up for a long subscription. They come in different 'themes' each month. I got one as a present a few months ago and it was fab, the theme was banned books and I got The Color Purple and some tea, a mini crafting project, postcards and a book mark. I sent one to my friend last month and she got socks and a cookie I think (cant remember what book )

It's a lovely treat and good value!

I am still waiting for a box from June but the box I had was fabulous!

You don’t get any gifts but you get a lovely and unusual book every 6 weeks and some of the money from your subscription goes to the charity.
I got the June’s Books That Matter box. Loved the book but felt that it was a little expensive for me. Maybe I was just unlucky with the gifts that month. I might try it again sometime

I signed up a while back for my daughter, they took the money, we got no books and they never did reply to any of my emails about it. I gave up in the end but wouldn't touch them with a barge pole anymore.
