I need a book recommendation for 16yo birthday present for DS's girlfriend. I don't know what books she has read, but she's a romantic sort (best to avoid anything sexy though ... I don't want to encourage them!) ... and she'll be doing A Level English (along with Biology and Chemistry, so had a sciencey streak too).
Any ideas? I only have boys and can't remember what I enjoyed reading at that age.
