Really scary book recommendations

I really want to read something that is going to scare me silly. Any recommendations please?

Erebus by Shaun Hutson is a "straightforward horror" and scared me to death! I couldn't even look at the cover

Anything by Jean Christophe Grangé, lots are in English, some must in French.

The first I read about negative near death experiences I couldn't find a 'safe' place to stop reading until nearly 3am.

His imagination is really tortured.

They're excellent recommendations but I've read them all unfortunately.
I'm really struggling to find something that fits the bill!

Just seen you’ve read OP - I know Michelle Paver has written two others called Thin Air and Wakenhyrst which I haven’t read but have heard are very good

Someone on here recommended House of Leaves, and it scared me so much I had anxiety dreams, was scared in the dark feeding my baby in the night, and I still can’t quite stop thinking about it. I am not usually so pathetic but this book really scared the shit out of me!

Wakenhyrst is great, but it’s not scary like Dark Matter.

Non-supernatural - practically anything by Stuart MacBride

Early Clive Barker really is some excellent horror.
