I am going into hospital for a routine op and want easy to read (but not crap) books that are positive in tone as general anaesthetics make me feel sad.
Eg Eleanor Oliphant. Or can be more literary than that, but must be relatively easy to read and not sad or scary.
All recommendations very welcome!
