Doesn’t need to have been released this year, just one you’ve read in 2019 and why.

I really enjoyed The Dust That Falls From Dreams recently, which was far better than its shitty title implied it would be

Also reread Oryx and Crake. Which is one of my all time favourites.

I've only read one book this year. Point Break. Ollie Ollerton. A genre I've never touched before but it opened my eyes to a world I knew nothing about.

I’ve just finished Tell Me Everything by Cambria Brockman...a psychological mystery set in a college in Maine. I found it compulsive reading...for a first novel I thought it was excellent. Plenty of twists and turns and the setting was exquisitely described.

Glad to hear you liked the Elif Shafak, am going to take a look at that. I also really liked Elanor Dymot's Slack-Tide...
