Just finished it on Audible. A bit meh. Anyone else read it? Thoughts ?

Just read it. Also meh. Seemed a bit pointless. The only people I identified with were the victims!

Pointless sums it up. It didn’t go anywhere. Thankfully it was too long so I’m onto the next audible book already.

Also read it after it was recommended on here in a book thread & found the ending very very disappointing & as said previously really didn't go anywhere.

Ooh the woman at Waterstones tried to persuade me to buy this it the description didn't peak my interest at all!

I started the audio book- but gave up after a few chapters. It didn't grab me at all - it seems to be well regarded though.

I loved it, binged it in a day. Really enjoyed how dry it was.

I liked it. But so many books these days seem to feature horrific child abuse, didn't like that part

I thought it was pretty poor, but my dp really liked it.
