I'm reading this just now and loving it. IIRC he is Glitterfairy's brother. Has anyone else read it?

I found the first 50 pages a bit tough going but now I'm really into it and it's great!

I read it on holiday, and though I enjoyed it I got to the end and went oh is that it then.

One of those then, perhaps the big thing I am waiting for won't happen then, I feel like something big is about to happen in the next couple of chapters. Still it is enjoyable.

Oh, I really like all his stuff, I've got quite a few. Seem to remember I liked The Sweetheart Deal the most. How exciting if he is GF's brother - off to do a search now!

Demented I couldn't get into it either and have such a long reading list at the moment I gave up. I'll go back to it later at some point.

I've been searching on Amazon for some of his other books and it looks like everything else of his is only available secondhand.

Should say not that I mind secondhand (about 50% of the books I buy are secondhand) just that I can't buy any more books at the moment and wonder if they are out of print his other books may become hard to come by, I'm enjoying this one so much just now I think I may like to read more of his stuff.

Demented, our local Oxfam is brilliant for books, & even better, they're all 59p. Bargain. If you want, I'll keep an eye out for you & buy any if I see them. Alternatively, you could be really nice to glitterfairy!

Beetroot that is really kind of you but I've got loads of books to be going on with just now but will make a point of ordering a couple more of his books on Amazon next month (sort of managed to run out of money this month and that's the reason I can't buy any more books just now). Throw the House Out the Window seems to get a really good write up on Amazon so will probably be top of my list.

hoxtonchick, thanks for your offer too, that's really kind, I'll see how I get on ordering from Amazon after I have been paid but thanks, I'm touched you're all really kind.
