Discovery of witches / Sookie series - similar?

Hi please help me find a new book series.

My 5 month DS is feeding all the time and I like to read particularly at night to keep me awake!

I've just re-read and loved the Sookie Stackhouse books and recently read the Discovery of Witches series...

Any recommendations in a similar vein - needs to be light enough I don't need deep concentration but addictive please!!

Women of the otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong might fit the bill. First in the series is Bitten.

Second Kelley Armstrong but also Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series, 1st is Moon called.

When I was feeding I think I read all the Aurora Teagarden and Lily Bard books. These are also by Charlaine Harris so might be worth checking out?

The Morganville Vampires I started too, by Rachel Caine.

Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Divergent series. Twilight series?

I enjoyed the Shadowhunters series - good for when you are tired and can't concentrate on anything too heavy.

The throne of glass and A court of thorns and roses series by Sarah J Maas are really good.
Rewatching Bitten on Netflix right now so might check out the book PPs mentioned!

The Invisible Library series and Vivian Shaw’s Strange Practice series.

RL King’s Alistair Stone books are entertaining. I ran out of steam with the series eventually, but they’re fun.

The Anita Blake books are good fun, but don’t read past book five, the series went downhill very rapidly after that -the author is Laurell K Hamilton.

I have really enjoyed the two (so far) of Sarah Painter’s Crow Investigations books - she’s a terrific writer.

RL Naquin’s Monster Haven books are super light, but good late at night reading, you don’t have to think too hard.

And anything by Barbara Hambly is worth reading, her early fantasy series The Windrose Chronicles is excellent. Her vampire books are genuinely frightening, so maybe not late-night reading. :-)

Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series, but anything they wrote, really. Anything by Patricia Briggs. Shelly Laurenston if you're up for something a bit more adult, but great fun. Karen Chance. Helen Harper's Slouch Witch series (but not her other books). Kat Richardson's Greywalker series. Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling stories. And Thea Harrison.

Also, the Gone series by Michael Grant for another hugely popular and easy young adult dystopian type novel

Benedikt Jacka's Alex Verus series is great - set in London but I found them easier reading than the Rivers of London series

I started Rivers of London as my Dad kept talking about it and I've found I can't get into it. Maybe my attention span is poor at the moment. I used to read more "intellectual books" but these days I just read Mumsnet, Mills and Boons or Vampire series 😂😂😂

I think you'd like the Marnie Baranuik series.
