Has any one read or is reading this? I'm LOVING it. I thought it was non-fiction at first - it's so "true to life".

It’s on my to read list! Would it be a good read for a book club do you think?

MsFenellaFielding · 29/05/2019 16:28

Loved it and have now read a couple more of her books. Brilliant!

Yes I really enjoyed this one, I’d not read a book in that interview style before

I'm only halfway through but I think it would be good for a book club, as long as the club members aren't total prudes (lots of drug references, and some sexual stuff but nothing graphic so far)!

An interesting bookclub topic would be the "interview" style it is written in, and how the story emerges from so many different viewpoints.

I loved this and will definitely try another of her books. It felt so real that I really wanted to listen to their album Smile

Just finished this and also love it. Camila and Karen Karen especially (Daisy I wanted to give a shake at several points). I wasn't sure about the interview format at first but I actually really enjoyed that too - it was exactly like so many of the BBC4 rock documentaries I've seen, with the cuts away and the contrasting interpretations set alongside one another. I think it would be a great book group choice, although I can imagine it might divide opinion. It will be interesting to see the TV series they're making of it, and hear what the music sounds like (I think the author based it loosely on Fleetwood Mac so I'd imagine it will be similar.)

I went straight onto "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" after finishing "Daisy Jones" and I can't put it down! It's brilliant. I have that happy feeling you get when you find an author you really like, who has written several books.

I loved that too Bezalelle.

I really enjoyed this too - great fun. I liked the interview style, and in particular how the characters remembered things differently.
