Anyone read '3 things about Elsie' I need to know the outcome - SPOLIERS!

I haven't time to finish it and need to leave book, I'm up to point the jack and Florence have visited Mabel (and Elsie but I've worked out she's imaginary).

Can anybody tell me how the story pans out? Thanks!

I have read it but can't remember all the details now.

You're right in that Elsie as an old woman is imaginary. She died young - death caused by the man Florence recognised. Sorry really can't remember his name.

Florence dies at the end iirc.

Bumping as I’ve just read this and can’t quite work it out.

The third thing about Elsie is not that she is dead and only in Flo’s head. The third thing about Elsie is that Flo loved her romantically.
