I was hoping someone could suggest a book with regard to lying as my 4 yr old son, has started doing this and not doing a good job of explaining. I tried to mention the one about the boy who cried wolf and he said, its ok mummy I dont play with matches as they burn.

Thanks

I agree bouncy, the boy who cried wolf will get the point across, I am positive there is a Ladybird book of it! What was that about matches? If you need reminded of the story I can recall it all, and I bet others can too.

there is an Usborne book called
'Dont tell lies Lucy' which I believe is very good (but then I would as I'm an Usborne organiser!)

This one proved a hit with my DS, especially when he started lying:

Twiglett, when does the phase end? That's so reassuring to here it's a phase. My ds seems hardly to tell the truth at all anymore, though we've talked a lot about lying and why we shouldn't do it.
