It may be by an author first name Diane or Diana. Written relatively recently. It think it is a gothic possibly ghost story set in a house where the narrative goes between two time periods (modern and tudor maybe). It isn't the new Laura Purcell one.
someone mentioned it on a thread recently as being a great read and another poster said it was a favourite - and wished she had read it rather than listened to it. I thought I made a note of it but can't find it and can't remember the name
