Book to take on holilday

Can't find a book to take on holiday. Don't mind mystery but not crime as such. Any recommendations for something that'll hold my interest. Thanks.

I read Behind Closed Doors by BA Paris. It's a thriller (but not the crime kind), and it was brilliant. Best one I've read in ages

Enjoyed Exquisite by Sarah Stovell psychological drama set in the Lake District
