Which Dorothy Whipple next?

I need some fairly light reading as going through a bit of a hectic phase.

I read Greenbanks a while ago and enjoyed it, now reading High Wages.

So, which one should I get next? I do love the Persephone books, they are published so beautifully.

I have read the ones you mentioned and Someone at a Distance and They Were Sisters. They Were Sisters was my absolute favourite out of all of them. I have The Priory on my "to read" pile at the moment.

I agree btw that Persephone books are beautiful. I have just finished Miss Buncle's Book but I am now making myself take a break from Persephone as I have read 5 of them since Christmas!
